Our Mission
Both doctors earned their Acupuncture Diplomates through the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. They are both Certifed in The Orthotic Group® Gait Scan Analysis & Casting Method for foot orthotics. Both doctors have had the opportunity to treat many Amateur and Professional athletes. Drs. Timothy and Kitty Yon are professional members of the American Chiropractic Association, Illinois Chiropractic Society , Better Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce. Both doctors strive to provide the best holistic, patient-focused care. Their treatment plans are unique to each patient, and initially focus on the primary complaint, then progressing to active and functional rehabilitation, then moving to preventive care.

Dr. Timothy Yon, DC, CCSP, Dipl. Ac., CKTP
CHIROPRACTOR
Dr. Timothy Yon earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences in 2002. He completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Psychology. He is a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). Dr. Yon has completed a vast amount of training in manual medicine, functional rehabilitation, sports injuries, nutrition, and orthopedics. He is a member of The American Chiropractic Association’s Sports Council, The American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, and The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic. He is trained in Cox® Flexion-Distraction Technique. He is also a Certified Kinesio Taping® Practitioner, Certified in Graston Technique® and Active Release Therapy® for soft tissue. Dr. Yon is involved in MMA – Mixed Martial Arts and has had the honor of treating many Amateur and Professional Fighters ( UFC, Strikeforce ). Outside of the office, Dr. Tim also enjoys training in Mixed Martial Arts / Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Muay Thai Kickboxing.
Dr. Kitty Yon, DC, Dipl. Ac., CKTP
CHIROPRACTOR
Dr. Kitty Yon has been in clinical practice since 2003. Graduating from the University of Waterloo with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, she pursued a chiropractic career and graduated from the National University of Health Sciences in 2002. She was awarded the prestigious Community Service Award by the Ontario Chiropractic Association in 2005. Dr. Yon has been an active member of the Rotary Club since 2003, and served as Club President 2005-2006. She is trained in The McKenzie Method® of spine therapy and also a Certified Kinesio Taping® Practitioner. Outside of the office, Dr. Kitty is an accomplished Long Distance Runner, who has ran 12 marathons including The Marine Corp Marathon, San Diego Marathon and The Honolulu Marathon.
